Peptide Plus offers a groundbreaking new approach to pet nutrition using Freshtrusion® HDP (Highly Digestible Protein) technology. It is the unique process of cooking fresh meat and fish ingredients in the presence of a natural enzyme, which digests (hydrolyses) the protein into a mixture of peptides and free amino acids.
By making the peptides smaller, mimicking the natural breakdown that occurs in the dog’s stomach during digestion, the digestibility and bioavailability of the proteins are increased & your dog won't have to work so hard to process their food.
Using hydrolysed turkey peptides & collagen peptides, this recipe enhances nutrient absorption, protects the intestinal barrier and supports gut health. Plus, because the proteins are now in a smaller peptide form the body can't recognise them for what they are, which means there's less chance of an allergic reaction.
The inclusion of key postbiotics further boosts gut health & immune function.
Additionally, by breaking down the protein into easily digestible peptides it improves the flavour too!
