As you may know, due to mechanical difficulties at their plant, we have had to change our manufacturer of Top Drawer. Since then we have had a number of reports of the seals of the new food (green & blue cardboard trays) splitting & causing the food to go off.
We have taken the difficult decision to stop selling Top Drawer until we are certain that this issue has been fully rectified. We know this will cause problems for some customers, and we are truly sorry, but we're sure you'll agree that if the quality isn't there then we shouldn't put it up for sale.
Top Drawer will be back, but only when we are certain that the quality is in place.
We still have some chicken & rice from the original supplier.
Lots of us like to add a bit of wet food to our dog's kibble for a little extra pizzazz, and often some water too. Our Top Drawer wet dog food trays were designed to provide an extra tasty, meaty addition that doesn't undo all the good work of your 100% natural, high quality kibble.
Of course they're free from artificial colours, preservatives and additives & because they contain no wheat or 'derivatives', no added salt, sugar or soy, are gluten free and/or grain free, they're one of the best wet dog foods around for sensitive stomachs. Plus they're made with a whopping 60% meat!
Formulated in a 'paté' style, they mix well with dry kibble and, with added water to the bowl, they create a tempting gravy - enough to whet the appetite of even the most discerning eaters (and handy for hiding pills in!).
Complete & balanced so they can happily be fed without kibble for those who prefer just a wet food.
Top Drawer can be kept at room temperature (but away from heat sources such as radiators & sunlight) until it's opened. At that point it should be refrigerated and used within 2-3 days. It is perfectly safe to freeze an opened Top Drawer - small dog owners often do this to help a tray last longer.
Trays usually arrive with around a year's date on them.
