Puppies
Puppies grow fast and are full of energy, which puts a lot of demand on their food. At this key stage in their development they need a good quality, high energy food which will provide them with all the protein & nutrients they need to grow into strong and healthy adults.
We offer a selection of puppy foods and 'all life stages' foods (suitable for puppies & adults alike) & it makes sense to provide them with the extra little bits these recipes provide to avoid any later health issues.
Smaller breed puppies tend to transition onto adult food from around eight months, medium sized from around a year & larger breeds up to eighteen months or whenever you feel your pup has stopped growing. Moving over to adult food is not an exact science & you'll do no harm feeding a puppy food to an adult dog for a short while, but, unless they're pretty active, the extra calories may cause them to gain weight over time.
