Super long-lasting, natural & digestible alternative to rawhide - with fur!
We all know the dangers & issues surrounding rawhide, but it's often difficult to find a natural, digestable alternative that doesn't have the eye-watering price tag of treats such as bully sticks - particularly if you have a large dog or a champion chewer.
Beef scalps offer a great, lower fat alternative. They're totally chemical free, very long lasting, highly digestible and are completely natural. Plus the fur offers a number of special benefits:
Firstly it acts as a natural de-wormer & gut cleanser which may of interest to owners hoping to reduce the amount of harsh chemical wormers they give their dog (do use alongside other natural deterrants & an annual worm count test).
Secondly the gentle abrasive action supports dental hygiene by helping to remove plaque & tartar build up in the mouth.
And thirdly, because fur is indigestible, it's an excellent source of fibre which may be useful if your pooch is prone to anal gland problems.
Plus they're a good source of collagen to help keep their coat in tip top condition (& support their joints) & they make a particularly effective stress/boredom reliever to boot!
Each 500g bag contains approximately 9 chews approx. 15-20cm long.
